Volunteer
Given the nature of our work, volunteers are especially helpful in two major areas: events and virtual support.
For example, volunteers can assist our team as we prepare for our events, like the Day at the Capitol. From pre-event planning and promotion to day-of logistics and follow-up, we could always use additional support.
And if you have experience in areas like graphic design, data visualization, copy editing or social media, consider joining us as a remote volunteer. We welcome volunteers from all around the state of Louisiana to volunteer with us virtually.

Local Opportunities
You can also support your local cancer center through community volunteer opportunities. We encourage you to connect with your local cancer support or advocacy organizations for more information on how you can get involved. Every action helps and improves cancer awareness.
Internships
Are you pursuing a degree in medicine or public health and interested in learning more about cancer outcomes in Louisiana? TACL has benefitted from many graduate-level public health internships, and our doors are always open to new candidates.
Previous interns gained practical experiences for their MD and MPH studies. We are generally able to offer class credit, along with valuable experience that goes well beyond your typical internship program. Reach out to learn more and see what an internship with TACL could look like for you.
